Are you looking to create how-to videos or digital presentations? Screencasting is a tool that allows you to create videos with voiceovers. Free online tools make the process easy to learn and effective for creating professional-looking videos with very little experience.

Deliverables

The final project deliverables will include a screencast training session and screencast videos produced by your team for your business.

Project Examples

Students will lead a training session on how to use a screencasting tool of your choice. Additionally, students can recommend a variety of free or paid services to meet your screencasting needs. Following the brief training session, your team members will have an to opportunity to create their own screencasts with student support.

This project may include, but is not limited to:

  • An introduction to screencast training session;
  • Creation of a screencast(s) for your business.

The resulting content produced by students and your team members can be used to showcase anything that can be displayed on your computer. Companies have used this to create tutorials, how-to videos and digital presentations.

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Students will need to visit your site to conduct the training or you'll need to travel to Georgian's Barrie campus

Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.

Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.
